Women's Work, Women's Worth - Employment Equity Toolkit

Employment equity goes beyond creating a discrimination-free work environment. It’s about employers taking action to remove and prevent barriers where diverse women are valued, respected, and have equal opportunities for recruitment, growth, promotion, and success.

York Region Women’s Foundation (YRWF) conducted a community research project, giving Black, South Asian and Indo-Caribbean women the opportunity to share their experiences in the Canadian workforce.
